Overview

JTT Fastighet & Konsult is a Swedish property maintenance and consulting company offering services ranging from ongoing maintenance to urgent on-site interventions. The goal of the project was to create a clear, trustworthy, and professional digital presence that reflects both reliability and experience.

Role

I was responsible for the UX, visual design, and implementation of the website, working from early structure and content definition through to final build. The work focused on creating a clear information hierarchy, improving readability, and ensuring the site communicates trust and professionalism to potential clients.

Clarifying services in a traditional industry

The main challenge was translating a broad and service-heavy offering into a clear and approachable digital experience. The website needed to quickly communicate what JTT Fastighet & Konsult does, who the services are for, and why the company is a reliable partner without overwhelming users with information.

Another key challenge was balancing a modern visual expression with an industry that values trust, experience, and long-term relationships.

Designing for clarity and trust

The approach focused on simplicity, structure, and clarity. Services were grouped and prioritized to help users quickly understand the offering, while typography, spacing, and color choices were used to create a calm and professional impression.

Special attention was given to hierarchy and layout to guide users through the content and support decision-making for both new and returning visitors.

What changed and what it reinforced

The project resulted in a clearer and more structured website that communicates JTT Fastighet & Konsult’s services with greater confidence and accessibility. By simplifying content and improving hierarchy, the experience makes it easier for users to understand the offering and take the next step.

Working with a service-oriented B2B client reinforced the importance of clarity, restraint, and trust-focused design especially in industries where credibility and long-term relationships are key.
